Community Impact

Stronger, more resilient communities.

Food security, housing, and family aid delivered through trusted partners in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and the United States.

Carlyle Poindexter Charitable Foundation
Why it matters

We owe a duty to our neighbor.

A family that cannot count on its next meal or a safe roof cannot plan for anything else. The Foundation partners with food banks, hunger relief campaigns, and housing initiatives that meet those basic needs directly and reliably.

In the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, that means building and repairing homes with Hábitat para la Humanidad and Techo para Mi País and supporting grassroots community organizations that know their neighborhoods best. In the United States it means backing No Kid Hungry, regional food banks, and backpack programs that send children home with food for the weekend.

How we give

Present where we do business.

The Poindexter group of companies operates in Raleigh, San Juan, Santo Domingo, and Moca, and Constantin takes seriously the responsibility that comes with being present in a community. Giving follows the footprint of the businesses: where the companies earn, the Foundation gives.
